March has been busy month for me with school visits, some of which I have already mentioned in my posts about World Book day and World Book Night, but that first week of March I also paid a visit to Turriff
a lovely town in north Aberdeenshire.
I was speaking in Turriff Academy on the Friday morning,
about my teenage books Spider and Dead Boy Talking.
It was an interesting morning with lots of great questions. Here are some of the comments about my visit –
Emily : “I loved the talk you did and always enjoy it when writers come to school. I love your books and I am currently reading Spider!
Bethany : “I would really like to read your books, they sound interesting”
Hannah : “It was a lovely talk and I found you fascinating”
Christy : The talk was really interesting and I am definitely considering reading one of your books”
Judy: It was really good
Sarah : “I really enjoyed the talk and I have read Dead Boy talking. It was one of the best books I have read!”
